Welcome to My Practice
Education
I received my Bachelor's degree with honors from the University of California, San Diego, and my Ph.D. from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco. I trained locally at several community mental health agencies including the Ann Martin Center and the University of California, San Francisco's Child Trauma Research Program. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and Research Center, Oakland. I have worked as a staff psychologist and clinical supervisor at both the Ann Martin Center and Psychological Services Center at the California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco. I have many years of experience in providing and supervising school and community-based psychotherapy.
Current Roles
I am the Founder and Clinical Director of Bay Area Professional Psychology, PC a psychotherapy practice dedicated to Child, Family, and Adult wellness. At BAPP we employ both Licensed Psychologists, LMFTs, and LCSWs, and we supervise clinical hours for post-doctoral psychology fellows. We also offer training and consultation to the wider mental health community.
I am also actively engaged in training early career mental health and medical professionals and provide consultation and training to several non-profits throughout the Bay Area. I am currently a Volunteer Clinical Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at UCSF where I provide training and clinical supervision to Psychiatry residents providing family therapy to the community. I received post-graduate training in providing Relational Psychotherapy Supervision through The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley, CA. I have taught courses in psychological assessment, family therapy, and child psychotherapy and I have supervised doctoral candidates at all levels of training and post-doctoral fellows.
